Jane Austen at 200, is a free one-day symposium at Lehigh University designed to assess the current and future status of Austen studies. We are hosting some of the most accomplished Austen scholars in the world, including Claudia L. Johnson (Princeton University) and Devoney Looser (Arizona State University). Jane Austen at 200 is intentionally designed to bring together established critics such as Johnson and Looser with emergent scholars. We have invited Wendy Lee (New York University) and Victoria Baugh (Arizona State University) to represent the future of Austen studies.
