Educating and Empowering a New Generation of Women Leaders
NEW Leadership opens previously imagined possibilities for college women and encourages them to break down barriers that have traditionally kept women from political life.
Graduates of the program have become elected officials, campaign managers, congressional staffers, issue advocates, and leaders in their communities and campuses.
NEW Leadership is supported by foundations, corporations and individual donors. To ensure that this unique learning opportunity is available to all eligible students regardless of their personal financial situations, participating schools are asked to pay a $300 per student fee to help defray costs.
NEW Leadership prepares women leaders for the 21st century, ready to step forward with vision, courage, and the skills to meet the challenges ahead.
Each year a diverse group of women from colleges and universities across Pennsylvania is selected to attend NEW Leadership.
Participants become a part of a network of current and future women leaders who share a commitment to making a difference in their communities.
