Are you a graduate student preparing to present at a conference addressing feminism and/or gender? This informal workshop will take you through, step-by-step, how to prepare an engaging conference talk and how to use conference presentations as a networking opportunity. This workshop will cover: 1) How to make powerpoints/prezis that keep the audience interested; 2) How to edit a longer project into a 20 minute talk; 3) How to talk to an audience that is discipline specific about your interdisciplinary feminist project; and 4) How to network while presenting at conferences.
